I have a question regarding another donghua though, Scumbag system and I Annoyed Millions of Cultivators. Is there some link between both of these stories as they both use the same kind of system to help the MC develop?

Although both have some similarity in that there is a system assisting them a SAO or Overlord kind of story (sucked into a world) they are not directly related to each other, both are based off their respective novels

Scumbag system is based off a novel written by Moxiang Tongchou (Ink fragrance and copper smell) while IAMoC is based off Ziyuan Zhanggui's (Purple court shopkeeper) novel of the same name, the authors love using weird pen names
Novel-wish Scumbag system has a better rating than IAMoC though, probably because of the harem aspect and the character development is better than IAMoC's characters

in all honesty, from what I saw in the season there was only one scene that hinted at potential BL but it didnt occur to me that it was actually part of the story. I forget what was said but the MC responded something like "dont say lines like I'm one of the girls in your harem".

Just a heads up, Shenyi Jiu Xiaojie has two couples and one instance of a false start with BL relationship, one is just kind of like close friend friend but as a couple the other, was at least for me, it was annoying, it was as if the author spent 20 chapters to decide whether the two should be in a relationship or not, given that one didnt want it initially the other, waited for thousands of years for the first to reincarnate, but the BL scenes werent like a couple couple, more of a two people spending time together, so no holding hands or intimate physical stuff

Yeah I think you should be fine with it as well, with Chinese censorship becoming more strict in regards to BL, I would think it will be verbal and any physical scenes would probably be off screen or removed
